The Village Project conducted a design workshop for the Weaver Street Market to gather information from citizens of the Hillsborough community. The community discussion is called a charette and is a common way for community planners to get feedback from community members on future visioning.
The design workshop had two parts as described here:
- A focus group of community decision makers, property owners, business owners, and members of advisory and advocacy groups
- A day-long workshop with facilitated breakout tables
