In 2006, my wife and I visited Poland for a week and a half. One place we hope to get to but never reached was Lvov, just over the Ukrainian border. Recently, I read about a fantastic public art project in the city. One of the buildings in the city has been decorated with a giant crossword puzzle. Clues and questions for the words are located all over the city at theaters, fountains, and other points of interest.

So how do you know if you have figured it out?
You come back at NIGHT.

Same Building as Above at Night
Special lights on the side of the building reveal the answers that are not visible during the day. Unless the words combine to form some Ukrainian version of Be Sure To Drink Your Ovaltine, which I doubt, it’s a great way for visitors to learn about the city through public art.
